U.S. Democratic Congress members visited Cuba on the last week of February to know first hand about the impact in Cuba of Donald Trump’s most recent measures against the Island . During their stay they defended the approach both countries started in December  2014 to advance to the normalization of relations, by which  Presidents Barack Obama and Raul Castro agreed in holding high level meetings in both capitals and the signing of some twenty cooperation agreements. The bipartisan delegation included senators Patrick Leahy for Vermont, Ron Wyden for Oregon and Gary Peters for Michigan, and representatives Jim McGovern for Massachussets, Kathy Castor for Florida and Susan Davis for California, who talked here with authorities, including President Raul Castro, small businesspeople and other sectors of society...
